Can't log in? How signing in to Safety Mojo works

Safety Mojo doesn't use a password. This article explains how to sign in and what to do when your one-time code isn't arriving.

How signing in works

Safety Mojo uses a one-time code (OTP) instead of a password. Every time you sign in, the system sends a 6-digit code to either your email address or mobile phone number — whichever is on your profile. You enter that code to get in. There is no password to create, remember, or reset.

NOTE  If you're seeing a 'Bad Credentials' error, it almost always means the email or phone number you entered doesn't match what's on your account — not that your password is wrong.

Step-by-step: signing in

  1. Open Safety Mojo at web.safetymojo.ai or launch the mobile app.
  2. Enter the email address or mobile phone number associated with your account.
  3. Tap or click Send Code.
  4. Check your email inbox or SMS messages for a 6-digit code. Codes expire after a few minutes.
  5. Enter the code and tap Sign In.

Common problems and fixes

"Bad Credentials" error

This means the email or phone number you entered isn't recognized. Try:

  • Using your work email address rather than a personal one (or vice versa — whichever your admin used when setting up your account).
  • Using your mobile number instead of email, or your email instead of mobile.
  • Double-checking for typos — a single incorrect character will cause this error.
  • Contacting your account admin to confirm which email or phone number is on your profile.

Code not arriving by email

If the OTP email isn't showing up:

  • Check your spam or junk folder. OTP emails from Safety Mojo are sometimes filtered.
  • Wait up to 2–3 minutes — there can occasionally be a delivery delay from email providers.
  • Try requesting the code again (tap Resend Code).
  • Try receiving the code by SMS instead, if your mobile number is on your profile.
  • If your organization uses email filtering or a corporate firewall, ask your IT team to whitelist emails from getmojo.ai.

INFO  Delays in OTP delivery are one of the most common reported issues. Codes sent to email can sometimes arrive several minutes late — if you enter an expired code, simply request a new one.

Code not arriving by SMS

If you're not receiving the text message:

  • Make sure you've agreed to receive text messages from Mojo. If you haven't toggled consent on your profile, SMS delivery won't work.
  • Try your email address instead.
  • International numbers may experience delays — email is more reliable if you're outside the US.

First-time login

If you're logging in for the first time:

  • You should have received a welcome email with a sign-up link. Check your spam folder if you can't find it.
  • If no welcome email arrived, ask your account admin to resend the invitation.
  • You can also sign up directly using a QR code or link shared by your project admin.

Kicked out after a system update

Occasionally, system updates require all users to sign in again. If you were signed in and suddenly see a login screen, this is normal — just sign in with your email or phone number as usual.

SSO (Single Sign-On) users

If your organization uses SSO, you should be redirected automatically to your company's login page instead of seeing the OTP prompt. If you're being asked for a verification code when you expect SSO, contact your account admin — your profile may need to be linked to the SSO configuration.
