Downloading the App and Accessing Safety Mojo
New to Safety Mojo? This article walks you through how to get access, download the app, and sign in for the first time.
How access works
Safety Mojo is invite-only — you can't create an account on your own. You need to either be added by your account administrator or sign up using a QR code or link provided by your project team. Once your account exists, you can download the app and sign in.
Option 1: Sign up using a QR code or link (most common for field users)
Your project admin or supervisor will share either a QR code or a signup link with you. This is the most common way field workers get access.
- Open the camera on your phone and point it at the QR code, or tap the signup link you were sent.
- Fill in your name, phone number, and select the contractor company you're with.
- Toggle the slider to agree to receive text messages from Mojo AI — this is required to receive your one-time sign-in codes.
- Tap Submit. The system will create your account.
- Download the Safety Mojo app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app, enter your phone number or email address, and tap Send Code.
- Enter the 6-digit code you receive by text or email to complete sign-in.

NOTE Each QR code and signup link is tied to a specific project. If you're working on multiple projects, you may need a separate link for each one. Ask your admin if you're not sure which link to use. |
Option 2: Invited by an administrator
If your admin added you directly, you'll receive a welcome email with instructions. Check your spam folder if you don't see it. Follow the link, download the app from your device's app store, and sign in using your email or phone number.
Downloading the app
- iPhone/iPad: search for "Safety Mojo" in the Apple App Store.
- Android: search for "Safety Mojo" in the Google Play Store.
- Web: you can also access Safety Mojo from any browser at web.safetymojo.ai — no download required.

TIP If you're on a managed corporate device and can't install apps from the app store, contact your IT department. Some corporate device policies restrict app installations and may need to whitelist Safety Mojo. |
Signing in for the first time
- Open the app or go to web.safetymojo.ai.
- Enter the email address or phone number associated with your account.
- Tap Send Code.
- Check your email or SMS messages for the code. It may take a minute or two to arrive.
- Enter the code and tap Sign In.
Common first-time issues
Can't register — email or number not accepted
If the app won't let you register or says your email is not found, your account may not have been created yet. Check with your project admin to confirm they've added you to the system. You cannot create an account without being added first.
QR code signed you up for the wrong project
Each QR code is project-specific. If you've been assigned to the wrong project after scanning, contact your admin — they can update your profile to the correct project. Do not scan a different QR code to fix this, as it may create a duplicate account.
Not receiving the sign-in code
See KB-001 for a full troubleshooting guide on one-time codes. In brief: check spam, confirm SMS consent is on in your profile, and try email instead of phone (or vice versa).
Signed into the wrong view (contractor view vs. user view)
If you see an unfamiliar screen after signing in — particularly a contractor-only view — this can happen when your phone number is associated with both a contractor profile and a personal user profile. Contact support at support@getmojo.ai with your name and phone number and they can separate the profiles.
